President's Message

Dear Fellow Graduate Students,

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year. If you are new, welcome, and if you are a returning student, welcome back! The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a great place to get to know other students, especially students in other departments and schools. We have a host of socials, happy hours, and professional development events planned for the upcoming school year.

Stay in the know by checking our website, Facebook, and, of course, getting to know your department’s senators. Senators represent your department and stay informed of graduate student happenings through the approximately biweekly Senate meetings. They also can lobby on your department’s behalf, so get to know them!

Finally, be sure to check out our many great programs, including conference reimbursement, dissertation scholarships, lecture sponsorships, and more. The procedures for these are available on our website.
